If you have read my earlier post which shows you some free and paid programs to help build your affiliate income then right now you will be looking at building websites.

Once you have your websites built then your looking to reach the top of the search engines to get those valuable visitors to your website. The easiest way to do this is to create a multitude of backlinks to your website which in turn increases googles pagerank. The more backlinks created the more search engines see your site as an authority on your particular subject.

You have probably already seen some videos, read some material or seen a program for sale that helps you do this. Here are some ideas both free and some paid which will get your website seen fast by the search engines.

1. You have probably seen or heard about social bookmarking,  sites like stumbleupon and delicious these are great as not only does your site get indexed by search engines but if it is interesting they can create a rollercoaster of traffic to your site. To obtain a large list of suitable sites join mybloglog, this is a good social site which has a list of social bookmarking sites.

2. Add some images to your website, don’t just log onto google images and copy the pictures from there try to be creative by finding some that are not listed. Also don’t overdo it with imagesas they can take a while to load making your website slower.

When inserting images into your site ensure to name them or give them a description which matches the theme of the site and contains your sites keywords. You will be amazed how many visitors actually arrive at your site via google images.

3. Get a google alerts account if you don’t already have one. The beauty of this is you set your alerts to your keyword then set up the options for blog search only and have these sites delivered once a day to your email.

Instead of you searching for blogs to leave comments on and create backlinks google delivers them to you. I set my account up to deliver me 50 possible blogs a day then scan through these for the most relative ones, usually I do ten a day depending on time.

4. OK the best is always saved till last, this is where you need to decide whether to DIY or pay for these.

Articles, we all know of them but read on and you will see a new way to get hundreds of backlinks at the push of a button. Don’t underestimate the power and the value of quality articles, some affiliates are making thousands of dollars each week with a few articles.

First thing you need to do is write one ?   If your comfortable doing that it’s great but if your like me then you need some help.  Freelancer is a fantastic site where your able to buy articles from other people, the articles can range from $2 to $20 each. Remember you get what you pay for so be careful and ensure you proof read articles before using them. Also use Copyscape to check and make sure your article is unique, I would suggest you do this before paying for your article. Most good copywriters on freelancer would expect this anyway and some even do it before sending you the finished product.

Now you have the article what do you do with it ?

You can add it to your website giving you more unique content or you can post it into an article directory like ezine articles. You can also use Free Traffic System which will get you around 90 backlinks for every article you post, the problem being your sending this article out to 30 sites each giving you 3 backlinks. Basically 30 websites all hold duplicate content, google sees this and ignores it you end up with 2 text links and one tag link. You can however spin your article using the free trafic systems resources which will give unique content across all the sites increasing your backlinks. This program takes one article and turns it into hundreds of unique articles so each time you buy an article or create one yourself you can submit it to all of the above. With so much unique content all pointing back directly to your website that race to the top of google just became easier.

One last word, Don’t overdo your backlinking too fast. Search engines picking up too many backlinks too fast will probably see it as spam and ban your site. Stick to around 50-100 a week so your site builds over time.
